Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aura (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use the Aura iOS application. Aura is a daily photo theme challenge product focused on local creation, light plaza browsing, and consumable Coins unlocks.
1. Summary
Most creative content stays on your device. We design Aura so drafts, published works, short comments, Coins balance, and unlock records are stored locally. We do not operate private messaging, live streaming, or stranger-matching features. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
2. Information processed on your device
- Photos you capture or import for theme challenges
- Optional creation voice notes (up to 15 seconds)
- Work titles, likes, saves, and short comments
- Theme selections, filters, frames, badges, and export history
- Coins balance and consumable unlock state
- Basic app preferences such as reminder toggles and your User Agreement acceptance
3. Permissions
Aura requests system permissions only when related to a feature you use:
- Camera — capture photos for challenges when you tap Camera on Create
- Photo Library — import photos and save HD exports
- Microphone — record a short creation voice note only (not for chat)
- Notifications — optional daily theme reminders
- App Tracking Transparency — the system tracking prompt appears on first open after Continue so you can set a preference. Declining does not block core browsing, creating, or exporting. Aura does not rely on cross-app advertising tracking to provide its core features.
4. Purchases
Coins are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase records follow Apple’s App Store terms and privacy practices.
5. Content safety on device
Before publishing, Aura may run a local sensitive-word check. You can report works or users, hide works, and block users on your device. You can delete your own comments. Safety preferences remain local on this device.
6. Third parties
Aura does not upload your challenge photos, voice notes, or titles to third-party automated processing services. Sample plaza imagery may load from public image CDNs used only for on-device sample display.
7. Children
Aura is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age required in your region.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a revision on this site.
